Help for Newborn Baby and Siblings After Pregnant Mother Slain

26 year old Apreona Harris was 9 months pregnant when she was shot and killed while on her way to seek supportive services from the Rescue Mission.

While she was on life support, her baby was born and is in stable condition. Local news reports indicate that the suspect arrested for Apreona's murder is likely the father of the child.

Apreona was an enthusiastic vibrant young woman with a free spirit with a love for culinary and aspirations of becoming an actor. She possessed many talents and was very creative. She had a heart that was pure as gold and she loved to spread positivity amongst friends and family.

Her greatest motivation was raising her children who she loved unconditionally. Apreona strived to be the perfect mom always aiming for perfection.

She was known at family holiday gatherings for her delicious Peach Cobbler.

We are raising funds to assist her family with expenses arising from her loss, including funeral expenses, caring for her children, and caring for her newborn child.

A portion of funds will also be given to the Rescue Mission for their outreach efforts to the community.
